Special cases
- BMW / MINI: not compatible. Both have only ever offered CarPlay/Android Auto wirelessly (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) — no model year has a wired USB data connection Dashly can use.
- Alfa Romeo Giulietta, MiTo & 4C: never received factory CarPlay/Android Auto.
- Porsche Macan: Apple CarPlay works, but Android Auto was never offered.
- Dacia: only on "Comfort"/"Extreme" trim and above — base trims have no touchscreen at all.
- Suzuki / Citroën C3: only from the mid trim up — base trims often have no touchscreen.
- GM electric vehicles (Chevrolet, Cadillac): some models no longer support Apple CarPlay. Check the trim before purchasing.
- Kia (2023+ models): wired and wireless CarPlay can be mutually exclusive on some trims — if your phone has ever paired wirelessly, switching to wired may need a dealer visit.
- Smart #1 / #3: wireless-only CarPlay/Android Auto with no wired connection at all, so they don't work with Dashly.
- Volvo EX30 / EX90: Apple CarPlay works, but Android Auto isn't offered (these run Google's own built-in system instead).
- Toyota bZ4X: wireless-only CarPlay/Android Auto with no wired connection, so it doesn't work with Dashly.
- Jaguar: currently has no new cars for sale in Italy — only relevant for existing/used vehicles.
- Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, NIO: not compatible.
